Holy smokes, this hidden away secret rakes in 5 stars for a reason. Everything we had here was not just good, it was GREAT. Popcorn shrimp actually tastes like popcorn, and is light and fluffy. I had the Call Me Crawfish, and it absolutely melted in my mouth. I will absolutely be referring friends and visiting again!

Extremely delicious sushi. It tastes fresh and the flavors come together so beautifully. The ambiance is really serene and calming too. We got the Mt Fuji roll and the Crispy Salmon roll. Both of which were some of the best I have ever had. Everything is also extremely reasonably priced especially for the quality.
Decided to check out this place nearby because I didn’t want to take the long drive all the way to Dallas tonight. I live in Irving and there honestly isn’t that many great places there. With that being said Bleu Bear is definitely legit and top notch. Honestly the food quality and even prices can compete with top places in Dallas. It’s sort of surprising since the the area and exterior of the restaurant I didn’t expect to be blown away like that. Would come again for sure. Service - Nancy was a great server, explained everything we had questions about and she even brought out samples of stuff the restaurant was experimenting with. Very attentive. Only observation I would make is they fire everything all at once (which is a good or bad thing depending on your preference) so if you want things coursed out you may have to let them know first. Food - No doubt amazing, we had oysters, lamb chops (great flavor and tenderness), the Wagyu gyoza, Hamachi Kama, chicken karaage, negi toro roll, chirashi don and some special dishes like salmon sashimi wrapped over apple and unagi with peach puree (my favorites). Ended with a delicious Green tea tiramisu. Quality of the food reminded me of my trip to Japan recently. A funny yet very impressive thing is their presentation is alot better than some of the high end Japanese restaurants I’ve been to in Dallas. Overall 10/10, I will come back for their omakase

This sushi spot is seriously the best! So fresh and tasty. The fish just melts in your mouth, every roll is a work of art. I regret not taking more photos, but I was too busy enjoying the food. I could honestly eat here every day, no joke. Their salmon and apple wrap has just the right kick, and the service? Impeccable, attentive, and so friendly. 10/10!!!! I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu!
Super excited to have found this hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant in our neighborhood! Everything we ordered—from appetizers to entrees and dessert—was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try the chef’s choice Omakase sushi menu.
What an amazing experience! We ordered the Salmon and Apple roll. I was hesitant at first because that is not a combo I have ever tried and I was pleasantly surprised! We also had their planned menu of 9 pieces. I don't remember the names but everything was very tasty! Will be back for more!
